Planned Escape

I need a change of topic the other is stressing me out..its sorta dodgey but yeh I'm not up to writing any sad poems

The sand is cold beneath her feet
She does not want to be found
She tiptoes down the beach
Doesn't dare to make a sound
The breeze breathes cold upon her cheeks
Around her body she tightens her coat
She looks upon the horizon
and sees the shadow of a boat
Her walk turns into a run
Her only thought to hide
Silently rips off her gown
and dives straight into the tide
She lets it overpower her
and gently drifts away
She glances around anxiously
She has to leave today
The sound of the sea in her ears
and the smell of fresh sea salt
The tangy taste it gives
Is the seas only fault
She climbs out when all is fine
and wraps around her cape
Runs into the endless night
This is her planned escape
