One Boy

I finally got the nerve to talk to you
Although I did not know what to say, I did not know what to do
I looked up at you and forgot the words I rehearsed to say
all I could think was "this is the guy I've been searching for day after day
you are cute with a great sense of humor and very kind
when you are not around, you are still on my mind
I want to talk to you, but I can't find the right words to say
all I end up saying is hey
you probably think I'm weird, I'm not usually like this you see,
but I'm scared to talk to you and that's not usually me
I can usually be open and talk to a guy
but for some reason when I'm around you I'm shy
I don't want to blow this I want you to like me
I don't even know you yet I want us to be
when I first saw you I couldn't look away
but yet every time your by me I don't know what to say
If you read this, I don't think you'd understand
you'd probably be like "she don't even know me but wants me to be her man"
but you remind me of the guy I've always dreamed of
you got me asking myself "could this be love?"
see although I don't know you yet I really like you
all of the things I said are true
I'm scared to like you though, scared to care
I'm afraid one day you won't be there
I'm afraid I'll find out your not the guy I made you up to be
I'm also afraid you won't even like me
but I'm gonna face those fears and give it a try
who knows maybe you'll be the ONE boy who will never make me cry!~
