A Whispered Secret

by xEmmax   Sep 11, 2005

Come here
And I'll whisper a story in your ear
Only you can hear
It's a secret

I know you will listen
To every word
Ears pricked, hush now,
It's a secret

In silence
You stand listening
So still, so quiet, absorbed
In my secret

Every word spoken
A stamp of the hoof, a shake of the head
Is all that is said
To my secret

No need for an answer
It's shared in your heart
I know that you'll treasure
My secret.
