I'm speechless...
This is so deep, thoughtful... excellently written. The firs part of the poem about habits and routine reflect some of my thoughts and opinions on that matter and it is truly excellently written, and sadly, it is all so true.
The second part of the poem is very inspirational and it really brought the smile to my face. After telling all that in the beginning of this piece you express your opinion that the hope still exist. I especially like the lines:
-And upon waking
we must remember
we are gods of destiny
weilding a power of our own control-
The ending of the poem is so effective, two last lines wrapped the poem together and they make the deepest statement in the whole piece.

I liked the rhytm ( although I'm not good enough in that section of poetry to tell if there was a specific one-if so I'd like to know )
"and sometimes we must
chew a leg off to escape. "
I think a pause after " sometimes "would be better for the rhytm ?

I trully lie this peice. it is very inspirational. makes me think about what i am becoming and wether it is what i want to be. i really liked the words "all is always possible-
