Her Once Great Love.

This one sunny day
That winter gave up
she stared at the world
with fire flies in her eyes
glaring so beautifully
thinking of her great love
she once had
she recalls her days
her beautiful days
with her once great love
summer romance? she thought to herself.
no, it was more than that
it meant more to her than anything in the world
but now, all she could do, was stare at the world
wondering
why her once great love
was so unfaithful
he loved me, didn't he?
when he kissed me, he meant it, didn't he?
Our love?
must have meant nothing
he's nothing but a leaf in the wind
so, my once great love, if you can hear me...this is what I'll do...
I'll raise towers and climb them
Rivers and walk them
Oceans to drown in, but you..
You won't make a sound in
