Secret Love

I've kept a little secret
For only me to know
Locked deep inside of me
There's no way it'll show

A two year wait for us to get
A little closer yet farther apart
We waited patiently only to find
There's no way this will start.

Plans to meet were soon ignored
The summer came and went
We pictured our chance did the same

Life has never been this good

Our loving jokes become reality
Together we both explore
The ins and outs of puppy love

A long time coming for the both of us
