What I Cherish

by The Secret Keeper   Sep 20, 2005

I get so sad,
When your not around.
I feel so empty,
Without you by my side.

I don't know what to do,
With these feelings that I have inside.
I try to act the same,
But we both know it\'s no use.

Too much has happened,
Something that was Taboo.
We risked everything,
Just me and you.

But I'm glad we did what we did,
I didnt regret it a bit.
If anything we learned,
Something from this.

We learned that nothing,
Can keep us apart.
We've been through hell,
And back again.

We learned that the other,
Is always around.
We learned that the other,
Will never leave.
We learned that theres,
Nothing we cant face together.
But most of all,
We learned how much,
The other cares.

You have no idea,
What I feel every time,
We brush up against each other.
You have no idea how much,
I treasure the moments we share.

You have no idea,
The memories I cherish the most.

I cherish the moments,
That its just you and I.
I cherish the moments,
When we're in a crowded room.

I cherish the smallest memories,
The little things you've done.

I cherish the memories,
Of so many things.
The time you kissed my cheek to wake me up.
The time you held my hand all the way home.
The nights we lay for hours holding each other.
The time I said I love you and you said "U2 and forever"

I guess I keep all memories of you,
Close to my heart.
I never want to lose you,
And I'll do anything to keep you as mine.

I know this sounds silly,
And it doesn't make sense.
But this all goes through my mind,
Whenever I think of you.

I hope you know,
That I'm always here.
I'll never leave you,
I love you forever.
