DEATH WAS MY THOUGHT NOW I AM DEAD

As you lie down
You wonder when death
Shall come knocking bound
You fall into a troubled sleep
You'll never return
To the gates of your keep.

With a flick of my hands
And a flash of my smile
Turning time into sands
The blood splashes sickeningly
And I smirk at the feel
of my laugh at my trickery

The walls are stained red[what did you do?]
You lie dead in your bed[all the blood too]

Remember the words I told you before?
It would have done you good to.
For the words came from a core
of truth within me
And now you will see
As I clean my hands
I whisper the words
I told for your sake
"And if you die before you wake
your mortal sole I shall take"

The walls are stained red[what did you do?]
You lie dead in your bed[and all the blood too]
