For Sonja (Part 25)

A Passion for life beams from your eyes,
Healing warmth emanates from your hands,
You hair glows with a spectrum of colours unknown to sight.
Your beautiful, glorious face, imposing and strong, but soft.
Your divine presence announced by the way you walk,
All creatures stunned by the way you talk,
When you sit, you only project yourself more.
You are a sparkling flame, that ignites the fire in my heart,
When you touch, you seduce and I long for more.
You are as bright as the sun cannot shine,
More dazzling than a diamond can wish to be,
You strike more prowess than any king could achieve,
Too gorgeous for me to lay my eyes upon.
Too stunning to have another man take you out of my life.
Never again have you taken from my side,

For once and for all and all for once, I can put this right.
Die together in the chilling silence of another dark night.
Sealed by a lovers kiss, I promise to take you before the break of dawn.
Woken by the breaking clouds and the shrouded cities made of gold.
Where I will stand and confess before god, why I lost my life and why you lost yours.
