Make her happy

When he looked into her beautiful blue eyes
he could tell she wanted to cry

for the pain she had
that made her sad

was still there
and it wasn't fair

that she has such pain inside
the pain she kept too well to hide

he wanted to know how to make her smile again
he wanted to stop the rain

from pouring down
but she said nothing not a sound

he promised himself that he would try
do anything so she wouldn't cry
