9-11

by lexx   Sep 27, 2005

9/11 what a day to remember,
It happend that morning in early September.
Two planes came crashing into the Twin Towers,
A terrorist from another country was trying to test our powers.
As one plane hit the first tower and people ran out,
People were confused, and didn’t know what to think about.
Then a second later came the next plane,
As it crashed into the next tower it just caused more pain.
Debris was everywhere and people were hurt,
Everyone knows that what the terrorist did was an assert.
People were missing, and families torn apart,
Just watching people suffer broke our hearts.
Four years later we remember this day,
And know that the pain will never go away.
But now to this day we have learned much more,
This day is not a day that we will ever ignore.
Although the terrorists hurt us on this terrible day,
We will stand strong although some dignity was taken away.
We are a country and together we will continue to be,
Together we will continue to live in the land of the free.

Well done, your message is clear, although it could maybe flow a bit better through the first half. The second half was very well written though.
