The Void

by ShadowDancer   Oct 4, 2005

The darkness in me surges
My heart is cold
My eyes see only blackness
There is a roaring in my ears
My skin is numb
The void of nothing is before me
It pulls at me, tugging
I fight
But there is no point
It is inevitable
For me there is nothing
Nothing but the vast pit
I release my hold on the world

I fall into the void

I drown

I like this one even though I think this is more of a sad poem then a dark poem. You are really talented. *5/5*

I agree. maybe "i am drowning" would be better than "i drown"

appart from that though a super poem
