My Darling

by Grotesque Angel   Oct 4, 2005

When it began we were just friends,
Just someone new,
We weren't molded my common trends,
Now I tell you something true

As we got to know each other,
As I saw the light,
You might have thought that I did love her,
But all we did was fight

Then someone stole you from me,
My soul darkened that day,
Then to God I made a plea,
To bring me to you in any way

So then you were no longer stolen,
My life lightened and turned to you,
Now you loved no other men,
I loved no others too

Now after all that time,
Paths are chosen and now set,
As yours is mine,
Suddenly the closer we get

Now I have passed the test,
My love is justified,
You must know now that your the best,
For your the only one I've cried

So this is for you,
My sweetest darling,
Now that we are two,
Now you know this one thing

I Love You my Darling,
Suzie

Er..I hate when people leave half-as* remarks. ^ Mhm.

Anyways, No offence, but I really didnt like that poem so much. It wasnt that it didnt have emotion, or that it wasnt a certain depth..but theres just something I dislike. Maybe its because the person in the poem (I guess you) rely to much on fate and God. If you think things are going to come to you as life goes on, im sorry to say- but they arent. (Sorry if you think I'm rude.)
