Lifted

by David McIntosh   Oct 5, 2005

A pedal once fell --
Soft to the ground.
A heart left alone --
To wonder around.
Failing at Love --
Trying to fill the hole.
Soon Understanding --
No where to go.
This pedal then found --
It's home after while.
Now this flower --
Can offer a smile.
