Loves Butterfly

by ShadowDancer   Oct 6, 2005

I have a message to you I must say
But am not granted the time to do so
And with the dawning of every new day
I race against time, my greatest foe
My message of hope, flimsy as a toy
Can't leave with me, for the peace it may bring
So don't grieve for me. This message of joy
Will fly to find you on gossamer wings
For Love's Butterfly, beautiful and brief
Will find then pass on my message to you
And this thought is what brings me sweet relief
As I must move on, I leave you this clue
As the sun sets then returns to the sky
My message lives on, as Love's Butterfly

this is different my other poems. comments would be appreciated

Wow, all i have to say is nice job! one of the first things i noticed is your great use of a wide vocabulary, makes it so much easier to see the complex words, always seems to make it feel like you put more time and effort into it, which has a huge impact on the reader's feeling during the poem.

    once again, great job!
