Behind my shadow

My tears hide behind me eyes
Straining not to fall
They must not be seen by you
Not anyone at all

My tongue hides behind my teeth
My mouth will stay shut tight
For if I was to say something
It would have to come out right

I hide behind my shadow
For I fear goodbye
You said we'd be forever
And I refuse to lie
