you look at me
and wave

As i look at you
you walk over
and speak

as i look at you
you give me your number
and smile

as i look at you
you look at the menu
and order

as i look at you
you lie beside me
and we are one

as i look at you
from far away
i see you with her

as i look at you
you use my credit card
and suck out my lives savings

as i look at you
you walk away
her on your arm

As I look at you
My eyes glint
My fists clench

As I look at you
My teeth grind
My face tightens

It was you who brought me low
It was you who dashed my hopes
it was you who ruined my dreams
it was you who broke my heart

It was you
