My Offer Of Immortality

by Sara   Oct 9, 2005

Many times my kind has been forsaken..
Been called cruel, ruthless, and cold..
How do you know all about us..
From your stories and lies that are told???

We walk this Earth as immortals,
We thirst for that crimson release..
You fear all the things about us..
And for this we are eternally pleased..

The more you mortals cry..
The more we laugh inside..
Your pathetic meaning of existence..
Is nothing but a lie..

I hate that we must stay hidden..
In the night is when we roam..
This cold hell of emptiness..
I have been left here alone..

No others are here to turn too..
My face I have yet to show...
But no longer shall I hide..
My name you soon will know..

Yes, I live in the shadows..
And I live for human flesh..
Now that you know you can join me..
Or die like all the rest..
