Wasn't sure what to call this one......don't know if a title could tell all that's in it.

At one time I climbed high,
but in love with you I fell.
I sit and wonder if it hurt
when you were dropped by that angel.

Fate must have had a plan for us,
resist you, I could not.
I nervously took hold of the chance,
and thankfully, you're what I got.

Even so, I was afraid
that it might not be true.
But it was more than a school-girl crush,
these feelings were so new.

You held my hand and kissed my lips,
Can't begin to explain the rush.
Jolting in my stomach and shortness of breath;
From the only one who made me blush.

You whispered words that made me melt.
Said I was beautiful, not hot.
I told you I loved you, right then I knew,
You had something other guys did not.

Sitting here now, I miss you terribly.
Can't wait 'till I see your face.
That moment when I'm in your arms,
My now silent heart, will once again race.

I'm not sure I could ever tell
what love has made me see.
But if anyone asks, I'll show them your picture,
and say "That's what love's given me".
