Sleep My love

by Carol Davis   Oct 12, 2005

As I lay here and watch you sleep.
I caress your lovely cheek.
I inhale your beauty from the moonlight dew.

Your eyes flutter as I embrace you,and pull
you close.
I trace the outline of your sweet lips with the tip
of my finger.

I watch your body relax from my touch, you snuggled
into my arms and drifted to sleep.
I told you your my one and only love.

I watched you sleep till dawn, than I too drifted to sleep.
This dream has taken you and I to this paradise, we
became Romeo and Juliet.

Oh for thou Juliet this Romeo can't live without you.
I shall deny thy faults and kiss you within this street, with
these people around to prove my love is true.

I shall not die till this ring is upon your finger, and we wed
within this sin of lust.
You in my bed we lay upon my throne of sins.
The doorbell rang, and the dream has faded.
