Misunderstood

How did it get like this
Where did it go all wrong
Why is everyday a battle
Just to get along

My mind has taken a holiday
A well deserved rest
My heart is working overtime
Trying to do its best

But sooner or later I'll crack

Good times rarely visit these days
While it seems bad times are here to stay
