Velvet Moon

by Carol Davis   Oct 14, 2005

I sit in this moon thinking of you, lonely and sad,
I wish I could touch your face, and kiss your lovely
lips.

A single tear falls from my weaken eyes, I see
you with another love.
I can't speak,I can't protect you my love, I am the moon
of velvet tears.

I shine upon your heart, your soul, please don't deny
my love.
I was put here to show my love will never die,you shall see
we are meant to be, as one moon in a velvet sky.

Your beauty is like the stars in a moonlight way, our
Lord showed me that you will be my evening moon.
You and I will be in velvet moon forever my darlin'.

I love you with every shooting star that glides pass
Venus,and Mars.
I pledge my love, will always be your guiding light
for eternity in our velvet world.
