Nature's Battle: The Earth's call

by Ana   Oct 14, 2005

As I lay on the ground,
I feel myself found
by a voice, unseen
Around me, I only see green.
But the voice is there,
it whispers to me like a prayer.
"Listen my child, listen well
I must warn you, before the world goes to hell.
Nature is angry, she cries no more.
But screams to the heavens to hear her roar.
We the elements, can do nothing
but try to help humanity, to do something.
You have been blessed, with the elements eye
to stop nature, from making things go awry.
You must fight, with the other's you'll find
blessed also by the elements, they are your kind.
Do not cry, for there is hope
that you can try to save your home.
You must stand still,
do what you will.
Save your world,
Do what you're told.
Don't hesitate,
this is your fate.
It is time humanity tries to fight for their own life
to save themselves, from Nature's strife.
Do you not believe, your home is worth saving?
Do you wish, your life to be ending?
Then you must fight,
if you believe you have the right.
I gave you my warning,
please be aware that there
is a war now, and we can't be there."
I hear only silence
as I take in the violence that I have just heard,
because I have to save the world.
