Special Gift

by lisa   Oct 14, 2005

Falling stars slip onto my window
They yawn and stretch all cosy,
Gazing at welcoming flames of the open fire.
Children, rosy cheeked play happily in the elegant white miracle
As the lovebirds sing so merrily high upon the blanketed trees.
Carolers chanting words of joy,
Wishing to spread a feel of glow
Under the trees lay all sorts of boxes
Hidden behind layers of festive rainbows
But all the presents are all the same
Not in shape, size or cost, but in the thought into them
This special gift everyone received was love.
