To the moon

by Ana   Oct 14, 2005

Into the ocean I walk
hoping to drown my sorrows.
To the darkness I talk
begging Death not to follow.
I run to the Moon, my home
her brilliant wings shelter me.
I no longer feel alone.
Keeping the darkness away from me
while hearing her sing
I open my eyes hesitantly
looking at the Moon
and waking from the dream slowly.
Although I know that soon
my dream will come to be.
My soul will travel to the Moon
and keep the darkness away from me.
