Freezing Perfection

by Brittany Stone   Oct 21, 2005

Walking under the moon with you was like
a masterpiece of its own
my hand in yours
fitting together like it had always been so
beauty spread across my face when you asked to kiss me
in the solace of your arms I felt alive
like nothing could break this feeling
even the trees around us seemed to silence
the world had stopped that moment
trying to freeze perfection even just for those few seconds
angels sang to us that night
I could feel my heart fluttering
everything felt right
something meant to be
you and me
