Alone in the Light

by Matthew Guitor   Oct 23, 2005

Alone in the light,
I cannot see,
It is so bright,
It's blinding me,
When I look past this plight,
Only then can I see as far as infinity,
I can see who will make it right,
We were meant to be,
We got into a fight,
But apart were both unhappy,
Now that I have regained my sight,
I want you to be with me,
I can merge the day and night,
The outcome is extraordinary,
Together we unite,
We have a valiant story,
We've survived the darkest night,
Can we be together,
Ok I'll be forthright,
I want you forever,
Alone in the light,
Not anymore,
This is a new height,
You helped me to soar.

Wow another great write. I loved it, the structure was not good, try splitting it up into stanzas. The flow and the rhyme where great. It was short, might want to try and make it a bit longer. Overall wonderful Job.

    Peace, Joe
