    Actually the whole point of the title is to tie in with the line about ring around the mulbery bush.The contrast of the loss of childhood/blood on the land image versus the innocence of the childhood rhyme is what makes the poem.Thus the title plays an important role by being familiar and as a connection to a later line.I appreciate the comment, but you need to understand the reasonings behind using something familiar and realize how it all fits together in the big picture
