Wanting you back

I look out the window as the rain slowly begins to fall
Thinking back to a time when we had it all
All the love that two can share
nothing between us but the sun and the air.

Wondering what went wrong.
Why the love we had wasnt that strong
Strong enough to withstand all the pain.
From the words exchanged only sorrow remains.

Wanting you back here right by my side
To touch and hold you through good and bad times
We belong together, like we were before.
Living life to its fullest and to love you once more.

I try to picture my life without you by my side.
It is then I just break down and cry
We make mistakes and learn from them
To forgive eachother is the only way we can both mend.

Now is the time to try to rekindle the love that was lost
I will do anything for you, no matter the cost.
