My Wish

Tonight I saw a shooting star
Soaring through the clear dark sky
I closed my eyes and made a wish
Wishing you were by my side

I know you're no longer here
But you are still inside my heart
The day that we said goodbye
Was the day my world fell apart

I always think of all the times
That we used to spend together
Those times I felt truly happy
I will remember it forever

The only thing I want right now
Is to see your face once more
The smile that will melt my heart
Just like how it did before

But I know the wish I made tonight
