In the Silence

In the silence of the night
he rode to her side
breathing deep, anticipating, crying
ashamed of what he had to say of what he has done

In the silence she sat in the chair
looking out at the moon and starry sky
Shaking, afraid, petrified of what would be ahead

In the silence, the silence was broken
Down it came as he pulled in the tears
fell faster as he came so scared of whats to come he opened the door and in he came

In the silence she jumped up so fast
and ran to him not a idea of the memories in her past she held him so dear so close so loved and did not know of what he had done

In the silence he kissed her cheek and pushed her away as a silent tear ran down his cheek, she knew what he had done but yet could not breath and everything got so dark as the memories ran through her head of the first time they met, there first kiss, and the first time he said i love you holding her hand

She started to cry and fell to the fool and didn't understand how he had done it but would do it no more

He didn't know what to do but knelt down and picked her up he walked slowly with her in his arms into the bedroom he laid her down

She stared down the hall way to the kitchen door he bent down to kiss her, and she hated him more for he promised that kiss to always be hers

He said "Good bye my love for pain no more" and slowly shut the door he walked to the kitchen and opened the drawer and pulled out a knife to witch he swore "I will never be so dumb as to hurt my love for that i am done"

She laid there listening to him through the crack of the door herd him walk down the hall in to the bathroom he closed the door

She knew what he was to do and swung open the door and ran she reached the door slowly she opened it and knelt down by him she held the hand at witch the knife was held and looked him into the eyes and said "I love you please don't do this your torn, we will work through this
