Sometimes things so ridiculous
That makes you feel as if there's a whole different you.
Love can also hurt
It can stab you in the back like a knife
A pain so consuming that it feels as if it's taking your very own life.
Love can also blind you to what everyone else sees
Sometimes you're blinded by the real truth
Sometimes love does the opposite of making you feel free
Love has also been known to make it harder to breathe.
Love can sometimes make you hear things
That only you want to hear
However, it's the sake of your heart that others may fear.
Yes love can be great
Yes love can be true
