Summer Of '65

by Carol Davis   Oct 29, 2005

We walked the sand of time, when I
was in love with Romeo.
Romeo sung his words of poetry, to
show his Juliet their love will never die.

We strolled along by the water of white to
show our souls was pure, our hearts was one.
Our eyes will never fall upon another's spirit.

Oh thou Romeo, thee Juliet shall never take another's
hand, another's heart, for mine will always be yours
to have and to hold, as time goes on.

These lips shall never fall upon any other, because
they only fall upon yours.
My heart shall never beat with the sound of love,to
another's poetry rhyme.

I Romeo shall turn deaf to another's heart, my heart
only belongs to my dearest Juliet.
My spirit shall never hold another's bond of love,
my soul shall never walk with another's without
thee.

Our love was the strongest of all loves, we shall die
to have one soul, one heart.
We shall die to be one poet, living in one spirit, thy
Romeo let death take us by the knife, for we will be
one song of you and I in love.
