My comfort

Pain consumes her
as her heart is ripped from her chest
now lays a gaping hole
lingering darkness devours her
lingering emotions consume her
she reaches for the razor
slices the warm, scared skin
blood seeps through
drips onto the tile floor
relief washes over her
contemptment fills her
and for a second
when she remembers their existence
her heart breaks a little less
