Thinking About You

I've been thinking lately about you...
I can't believe it's already been a year,
but through each passing day,
I've shedded a tear.
Its still so hard for me to believe
that were through,
When you made me think,
that everything you said was true.
You were my first love,
& I wanted you to be my last.
but I have to keep telling myself
that your a thing of my past.
Even though the concept
Is so hard to grasp,
I know that are relationship
wouldn't have last.
Because you cheated & you lied,
& my trust for you has already died.
How can you tell someone that you love them,
& not mean anything by it?
You took advantage of
a little girl,
& you're one mistake,
ruined my world.
But thinking about this,
helps to prove my point,
You're not even worth my time,
There are plenty of other guys out there,
that would love to be mine.
But in a way I thank you,
because it's made me so much stronger,
So no more will I miss you,
I won't stress myself no longer,
& never again, for you, will I shed a tear,
because I'll find me someone,
even better this year.
