The meaning of love

by Zach Cambria   Nov 8, 2005

A dawn of roses red
Tender hearts upon a flower bed
Lying peacefully so ever long
Singing an ever sweet
and tender song.
Is this not the love in which we share?
To look at the world through glowing eyes
That see only the fair...
To never walk without holding hands
And to fade from gray to blue
By living life to the very day
With a love that yearns so true...
And to share it with another soul-
Someone who makes a half heart-whole.
A love like a starlight blazon sky-
Of the brightest twinkling gold-
To see the brightest of blue oceans on a sun awoken beach-
To watch as dusk turns into day,
To live
And to grow old.
To think simply of the one you love-
in harmony with the earth so clear-
Spending every moment-near-
And for once seeing that Blue sky
In a whole new kind of way-
From a whole new set of twinkling eyes
To be uplifted every day
to cope with the laughter, and the bitter cries.
To appreciate the simple things
And to look and truly see-
Is that not the beauty that love simply brings-
Unleashing your heart-to emancipate, and to finally be set free
