Arched Across the Sky

by tender69   Nov 14, 2005

On this morn' there is nothing left
From the happens of last night
I look up at the sky to spy
A streak of colored light

Arched across the sky connecting your sweet heart to mine
Fading ever so quickly in the luminous sunshine
Your sweet heart to mine

To think back welcomes pain
But my elation overcomes
I can't stop thinking about you
And our last night's great love

Arched across the sky are the strands of adoration
Stretched from temptation to the sands of fascination
Are the strands of adoration

The day commences,
And before I wake
I am held here spinning
In thunderous quake!

Arched across the sky your arms encompass my world
In your winds I am still, not madly twirled
Your arms encompass my world
