Love at first words

by peaches   Nov 17, 2005

The strongest emotion
Ive yet known to feel
what the depths of my heart
have yet to reveal
but in the presence of your words
my inner crimson child
flies among the herds
exploding throughout
the path of my blood
hurrying the pace
of my own hearts thud
and even though
your a stranger to me
your the only one
who can set me free
in the dark corners
of my room
i hear my pulse
sing a luscious tune
Ive never met you
but i cant help what i feel
how can i tell
whats fake from real?
is there such thing as love at first words
or just in my imagery height?
you've never came across my eyes
but still my heart taken flight
the style, class, and poise
you hold
are among the stories
of which Ive told
and for as long as i can remember
my heart has been pumping ice
you've heard the saying "you've melted my heart"
and for that love has paid the price
