Very, sad, But good poem Kilman!
I loved the metapher(god damn spelling =P) in this stanza,of the math sum =)
"How could something so simple,
Fall apart and reveal something so complicated,
Like a mathematical riddle with no answer,
Only many attempts to solve but no results"

Well done on that I find it very interesting and good.

Very good... but mabey you should consider changing "bur" to "but", in the last stanza.
