Though I know my sorrow prolongs,

As day turns to dusk,

I know that I will always be,

Hopelessly in love.

Though the Lord up above,

Fated us to be apart,

I know that really we are not,

Because you're always in my heart.

Though the tears roll so fast,

Like raindrops from the window pane,

I know that you are always with me,

And that's what keeps me safely sane.

And although I wait by the phone,

To hear your comforting breath,

I know that I will love you always,

My undying love,

    Awe that is a cute poem, I havent really had time to read yours or comment on them latly, but I have read a couple of ours tonight. Most of them are good but the way a few of them are writteen is a little wonky. Anyways good work.

    I really liked this poem i have been through the same thing. mine is a little different though my boyfriend is in the marines and i sit by the phone waiting for a call all of the time. anyways i loved it and keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
