You took me by surprise,
how you drifted into my life.

We started off as friends,
we never had to pretend.

We clicked immediately,
as if we were meant to be.

You were always there,
you let me know you cared.

Our late night talks,
and our late night walks.

turning my nights into sun rays.

my heart started to expand.

I'm scared to fall in love again,

Broken inside,
I felt like I should've died.
