God's plan

We met in the craziest way
I tried to act so cool
i knew on that day
i met the prettiest girl in school

then the next night, I gave you a glance
In hopes to catch your eye
You asked me to dance
And of course, I tired not to act shy

We talked till the early morning
And I realized how wonderful you are
I fell for you without warning
I could see us going far

We dated for awhile
But things didn't end up as planned
So all I could do is smile
As you let go of my hand

I'm comfortable being your friend
Cause not being in your life
Would kill me in the end

Everyday that I see you
Puts a smile on my face
Being just your freind is something so new
But is the start of this new relationship base

Maybe one day I'll hold you in my arms
All will work out
And I'll keep you from harm

If that great day comes
And i get to be with you
Then I'll know all this was worth it
And God's plan had come through....
