Mist

by brin macnamara   Nov 22, 2005

If you desire I will fade into the mist of your past
Ne'er to re-emerge delemma your heart nor confound your life;
affright your passions, be the nemesis of ill judgement.

Not to say though that all trace of you
Will exit my reminiscence!
your name is forever etched upon my heart
your kiss its stigmata upon my soul.

Destiny and Love would lie crushed,
misery heavier and more silent than rain yet fallen.
Romance trampled into the mud of regret.
Begrimed sod of the broken hearted

Tell me though....
Will you be mine in paradise?
