A past forgotten lover

by Avrii Monrielle   Nov 23, 2005

Buried in old pictures
Withered and gray
A past forgotten lover does stay
Fondled by time, caressed without love
This picture was for me
And yet I let thoughts blame with anger
My past forgotten lover
How years can change a person
Neither of us hold the same face
Nor pity the other of our fates
And yet we're divided
But restricted
I can't hope too high
What the future will hold
But I won't want any other
Than my past forgotten lover
