One Last Thing

by Tori   Nov 23, 2005

One last thing,
Id like to do.
Is spend one more moment,
Alone with you.
Wed talk all night,
Up in your room.
About all things imaginable.
Cause in the morning,
Ill be gone and well be done.
Wed fall asleep,
In each others arms.
Keeping each other,
Away from harm.
And as your eyes begin,
Their decent,
I part my lips to let you know,
Just how much you mean to me.
I whisper I love you.
But you cant hear.
Youve drifted off,
Asleep so sound.
I smile, and kiss you on the forehead.
A single tear rolls down my cheek.
I turn off the light, and grab the door,
I start to leave and stop suddenly.
I glance back, and shake my head,
in disbelief.
I say to myself No regrets.
Sighing deeply I whisper,
I love you more than anything.
I shut the door and walk slowly to my car.
As tears fall silently down my face.
