What I know

by Lexi Lou   Nov 25, 2005

I wish you knew what I do
When you opened up that door
That he was hidden under the sink
And heard your footsteps on the floor

I wish you knew what I do
When you turned the water on
Through a crack he watched you undress
And rub your eyes with a yawn

I wish you knew what I do
When you stepped in and closed the curtain behind
But you did not hear him as you rinsed
So fear could not enter your mind

I wish you knew what I do
When you carelessly pulled the curtain back
And came face to face with a man
Who had a gun behind his back

Now you know what I do
In a mangled and dead state
If only you knew what I knew
But now it’s just too late
