One True Love

by Nathan   Dec 19, 2003

I’m afraid I’ll never find my one true love
Or even worse
Have it, and lose it
Because I didn’t know what it was.

I’m afraid I’ll never be the one
Holding that someone’s hand
I’m afraid I’ll never know what love is
Or never even truly understand.

I’m afraid that love will pass me by
And never even get a chance
To hold the one I love the most
Or have that special dance.

I’m afraid I’ll never share a song
Or watch her light up the room
I’m afraid I’ll never hold her hand
Or get too serious too soon.

I’m afraid I’ll never lay awake at night
And wonder if she’s thinking of me
Or every time I fall asleep
Will it be her that’s in my dreams?

I’m afraid I’ll never fall in love
But then again what’s a man to do?
And there’s no true reason to be afraid
Cause I’m already in love with you.
