Mother dying

by skizzle goddess   Nov 26, 2005

Fading, withering on your death bed
every waking morning, not knowing if your dead

prayers sent to him above,
hoping to keep, my only love

Ive hurt you, and lied to you
but now your end, is the only lie thats been true

changes in the seasons, as you lose our breath,
sitting at your side, holding your cold hands till death

i know i haven't always been your princess
but you know how Ive tried so hard to be the best

Ive treated you like shit, for the past few years
now your leaving, and I'm drowning in tears

i try to remember the good times, but even then you were in pain,
all you've done for us, with nothing for you to gain

good bye, I'm sorry Ive hurt you
through all of this, you know ill still love you
