My Blessing

Thanks for always caring,
for inspiration and supporting,
effecting the works of poetry,
sharing wisdom for all to read,

Thanks for making me smile,
on days that bought me down,
Treating me as an equal,
for breaking through my shell,

A day of thanks and giving,
to pray for all good blessings,
To you my friend I give,
my love from deep within

You deserve it more than once,
for all the moments that we share,
This Thanksgiving year,
I remind you of my blessings.

Thanks, a simple word to give,
meaning so much feeling,
All within six letters,
A word I give to you.
