To My Friend

I sit down to write this to you my dearest friend,
I wrote you this poem to tell you how much I care.
When you cry I try to stand tall and cheer you up,
But its hard because I want to cry with you.
Every time that I see that youre hurt, sad, or lost,
I try not to show Im lost with you.
But its because I care about you and theres these words,
I cant describe how much of a friend you mean to me.
Everything seems clearer for me,
Knowing that youre there by my side every step of the way.
You are my hero, my guardian angel,
You came to my rescue giving me a helping hand,
To get up from this tumble that I took,
And I thank you so much.
You should know Ill always be here for you,
Always just to talk about anything on your mind.
I may not have the best advice to give to you,
But Ill always be here for you,
When you need someone to listen to how youre feeling.
Even If you were on the other side of the world,
Id hijack a plane just to be there for you.
I know there are times where you just want to hide,
But when you need someone to make you laugh,
Or when you need someone to cry with,
Or when things seem to be going wrong,
Or all you want is to have a great time,
Ill always be there for you right by your side.
We may have had our arguments and we may have more,
But I dont want to hurt you when we are in one again.
Youre the only one, who stuck with me one hundred percent,
When no one else has.
We both share our dirty little secrets with each other,
Its fun to know that I can tell you everything and you dont judge.
We laugh at each other for the dumb things we do,
Our countless memories always makes me smile.
Well try our hardest to keep each other from drowning,
We got to stick together so we can stand on our feet.
Youe my best friend and I love you for being one to me!
